Has anyone here volunteered for the sierra club? If so, how is it?

I've considered joining because I'm into environmental Issues and sometimes they collect water samples out in the field which seems so fun. Has anyone here been a part of the club and volunteered?

Do you guys think that the architecture here is all that special or makes a substantial difference in choosing to live here?

Yes, the architecture is great. But I do think that there are more important reasons to choose where to live. Almost every large city I've been to has beautiful buildings to look at. Most of the architectural masterpieces are places that I don't go to such as churches since I'm not religious and schools since I'm not in school anymore or have any children. It just strikes me as odd to me to choose a place to live based on buildings that are architectural masterpieces when you can only be in or stare at buildings for so long when factors such as things to do, a Job in your Industry, and others are more important. I understand that where family and friends are often dictate where People choose to live and the architecture can be the nice icing on the cake. I know that the Robert N Stewart bridge is pretty beautiful but driving across it or walking across it is only a small part of Life.

How do you guys deal with not having a nudist camp, resort, or beach within a one hour radius of where you live at?

It really sucks to not be able to swim or walk around naming anywhere where I live at. My only hope is if and when maybe my friend who owns a secluded farm invites me to come and I can swim in her pool & walk around naked. Europe was the time of my life because of so many nudist options. I don't live anywhere near an ocean beach because I live in the midwest and my state is so conservative that there aren't many nudist options. Unfortunately, I live with a family member that isn't open to nudism.

Is that vacation that you get to do every once in awhile meet your nudist needs?

I don't get the option to travel with family and friends too often. A tour group often gets suggested if you don't want to travel alone but I never see any for the things that I want to do on my trip. I would love to have family, friends, or a partner to travel with. But solo travel is sometimes the only way to get the freedom that I desire such as driving even in Europe to remote places, I like to go to the beache, and there's so many small towns that tour groups don't go to.

So, does anyone else solo travel because there isn't any viable alternative?
