hi 👋

Hi ! I am an 18 year old who is extremely interested in sounds. That sounds really vague but its the most accurate description I can offer
listening to a piece of audio and learning different ways I can alter it is probably the most interested I have ever been in something throughout my life.

so far the most I have done to pursue this is by listening to a LOT of music, (and I mean tens of thousands of collected minutes on individual songs. thats not too rare, I guess i'm just proud of the numbers ) and over the
past year I have downloaded FL Studio and experimented with anything that interested me.

My question is, how do I get more involved? I'm considering emailing one of the audio engineers at a local studio near me, but i'm not sure if thats weird, and I also don't know if thats going to be effective. My goal is to just BE there, fortunate enough to watch a professional do what | love on a crazy level, and hopefully learn as much as I possibly can.

Sorry for the yapping 😅

help pleasee

for context, this is the second thing i have created. it took me 2 hours to make.

i didn’t go into it trying to make music, i just liked messing around with changing the sound (every part of that audio clip came from one single original audio clip i imported) i didnt have any process, no experience mixing or mastering or whatever, nothing.

so my question is this. “what the hell do i do?”

what i mean is 1, did i accomplish anything worthwhile, and 2, if i did, how can i continue doing it in a way that produces real results?
