Using Boards & Beyond During Lecture

I am starting at LECOM soon, and would like to hear some insight on my intended study workflow and if it is commonly done/feasible! I decided to go with the PBL curriculum (bc I hate lecture...) and didn't realize the first 10 weeks will be 8-5 mandatory lecture.

My plan is to:

  1. Sit in the back, put in my airpods, and watch boards & beyond/sketchy/pathoma on the materials covered in lecture
  2. Record lecture for reference later as needed (unless they record it?)
  3. EOD put lecture transcript + lecture slides into AI tool to identify:
    a. What the professor emphasized
    b. Things mentioned that are not tested on STEP/COMLEX
  4. Unsuspend the Anking cards that correlate with the b&b, sketchy, and pathoma resources I used during lecture
  5. Make cards for the notes on 3.b material

I plan to do a similar workflow when PBL starts, but replace 1-3 with the material they supply that can be tested on our exams.

I finished a SMP so I have a good idea of the study style that best suits me: relying on a fast video explanation + thorough anki cards.
