We should talk about this - The Doors & PCRC
I’m a fan and I’ve been for the gigs since years - we were practically there when they first played - and the ONE recently in Delhi so don’t get me wrong..
But there is an abysmally strong and striking comparison with Music by the doors and I can’t get it out of my head. Especially if I go Album by Album. - ‘other voices’ to start with..
And then I go to The Soft Parade… god it’s like a replication
I could go instrument by instrument right now on how much similarity there is. This doesn’t speak to the fact that PCRC are one of my favourite bands and will always be and couldn’t find anyone on the internet talking about this when I googled so am I daft or does this make sense ?
It all started when I figured out people never change as a song title and then drifted into more.
