Except now they’re over the cap, and every team knows just how desperate they are to get rid of these other contracts. They will be cleaned out in these trades with 0 leverage whatsoever. It’s probably being used against Verbeek with these secondary players since Leo signed the offer sheet.
Their roster has already been dismantled with nothing to show for it, and they still need to sell everything they can to just hold on to a piece of what they were building.
I can’t believe Verbeek could possibly put an org in such a vulnerable position to be relentlessly buttfucked by the entire league like this.
