How hard is it to get fifo work?

Im an engineering student and all i ever hear from my classmates is “im just gonna do fifo after I graduate” or “im just gonna go to the mines”. Which us obviously a good goal but from my understanding a little bit unrealistic? I know people in the industry who say you really only get a job if you know someone so why is it these people think you can just walk into these roles?

How do banks/ brokers assess expenses for young adults living at home with their parents.

I pay very little expense’s to live with my parents. Really just fuel and a little board Around 100/week total . Surely banks would apply some sort of buffer or minimum value to this?

Im interested-in buying an investment property and paying it off for a few years while living at home until my income goes up. To what extent to my near-0 expenses help?

How do banks (particularly CBA) assess casual income

I have two casual jobs, one student role (20-38hr/wk) and a hospitality role on the weekend(6hr/wk). Between them u make anywhere from 1000-1500 a week. How do banks assess (unstable) casual income compared to full time ?

The cafe I’ve been at for 4 years and the student engineer role about 3 months.

Is there a way to use Parents to increase borrowing power without them owning the property.

Im young(19) and live at my parents house( little expenses). My income is currently 60-70k between two casual jobs.

Due to my low expenses I am certain i could service a loan on an investment property (Approx 600k in my area). I have a decent deposit saved which my parents are willing to match. The only problem is convincing the bank that I am able to service a loan of this size(450-480).

Is there a way to use my parents financial position to increase borrowing power to get me over the line WHILE maintaining full onwership?

My girlfriend if a year made out with someone while drunk. Someone else told me. Other than that our relationship has been perfect, we had plans for the future and we both got along with everyone in each others lives. It feels like a waste to throw that all away, but at the same time obviously she’s ultimately disrespected me?

Has anyone every forgiven there partner and it turned out well?
