I've been an avid user of Krave Beauty despite their higher price point. I've mainly used their Hemp Cleanser and Great Barrier Relief for YEARS. As I was packing for an out of town trip, I noticed some black dots from the bottom view. Peeled back the film and found MOLD in my damn bottle and even IN THE PRODUCT....I don't know how long this has been there but I have been breaking out recently and maybe this is the source. I also tried their Oil-la-la which was meh for me personally. I peeled back that as well and found moisture in the bottle.

It's been getting more warm in my area, however I keep the fan running in my bathroom at all times since it is in the middle of my house and needs the air flow. These bottles also stay in my medicine cabinet/behind the mirror so not much moisture should get in there...Despite years of use I have never seen my product build up moisture inside or even mold anywhere in my bathroom. Unsure if they switched bottle manufacturers that caused this (I've never unscrewed the cap), or maybe it's just poor design in general but I genuinely wanted to throw up after seeing this. I've had this particular bottle for about 5 months and the shelf life indicates 12 months.

I've already reported to customer service and waiting to get a response to explain the situation hoping they either change the bottle design or investigate this lot in particular. Either way, I cannot see myself buying their products again after this.

Update: Customer Service got back to me and clarified it was the Tamanu Oil in the in the formula! Still looks freaky but I guess crisis averted for why it's looking like this. Leaving this post up if anyone in the future finds this and wonders about the black dots.
