Is an MBA worth it for me

I have asset manager experience for the state of michigan overseeing real estate assets. Many of the jobs i see want a bachelors in acct, finance, bis etc. So i was thinking about getting an MBA to further my career and earnings. I get 50% off tuition but it is not a big name school. It is davenport university. I am also considering getting my MPA from CMU. any advice is appreciated.

MPA or MBA in Accounting?

Alittle background I have a job in state government right now that has some accounting/financial aspects. I am wanting to go more into the nonprofit field but i also want to make sure i can support my family and that the degree is worth it. I am so torn between these two options. Any insight?

What did you end up doing with your MPA degree?

I am curious to hear about the jobs you got with an MPA. It is something I am very passionate about and want to do, but I dont see any jobs posted that require it. I am also considering my MBA in accounting which I see jobs for all the time.

MBA in Managerial Accounting

What kind of doors may this open up for me? It allows for CMA cert but i dont think CPA. A little background I am currently an Asset Manager for the State and so i have some experience in accounting/finance. I have many years of property management experience as well. My undergrad degree is in Community Development. I hope to someday maybe work for a nonprofit or a remote job in accounting. Do you think the MBA can lead to any of these opportunities? Or what would be available to me? I've done so much reading and there's mixed reviews on this degree.
