Finally after a few years and with some help with ai I've managed to get this mud to boot. It can be found at godwars.net port 5000. .. I have no idea how compete this version is or if it's missing anything? Really was just me seeing if I could actually get the released code running!! 😂
I’m still working on this MUD. It is based upon the GodWars 1996 code which is now 30 years old (damn I feel old now). I have been through the entire code base fixing bugs and bringing things up to date protocols colours etc etc. I am now working on making some PVE aspects as godwars always was primarily a PVP mud. We feature the standard classes of godwars, vampire werewolf demon mage and highlander. I’ve spent countless hours going through things to make them better.
