Autumn and Deer in Richmond Park

Me and some of the guys from Shoulder To Shoulder took our cameras for an autumnal walk around Richmond Park yesterday. Managed to survive the rutting deer and a million cyclists.

Spring Days And Sunset Nights: Seoul April 2026

Some of the shots I took over a few days in Seoul during April. Had missed a lot of the blossom bloom by then (damn global warming), but managed to find a few pops of colour along the Sky Garden and around Seokchon Lake followed up by a climb to Yongmasan to get views of sunset over the city before heading back to Myeongdong market

Hokkaido - July 2027

Hey all!

Have the outline of a plan for next year in visiting Hokkaido. Looking for some feedback on it. I'm pretty happy with it and I've taken some things out to remove the city hopping that exhausted me on my last trip.

10/07 - Arrive Tokyo

13/07 - Sendai/Matsushima

16/07 - Hakodate

19/07 - Noboribetsu

22/07 - Sapporo

25/07 - Asahikawa/Furano/Biei

29/07 - Tokyo

31/07 - Leave

Gives me 3/4 days per city. Some long trips between - especially Hakodate > Noboribetsu, but I'm ok with that.

Interested to know your thoughts.

Hokkaido Summer/Okinawa Winter?

Hey everyone.

Been back from my last trip for a few months and my mind is already mentally planning the next one. I've been to Japan in Autumn and Spring so far, but for my next trips I want to try winter and summer.

I know they are extreme seasons in parts of the country so my initial thoughts were doing the northern/southern ends would help balance that out.

Has anyone done Hokkaido in the Summer? Is it cooler? Has anyone done Kyushu/Okinawa in the Winter? Is it warmer?

I honestly haven't given it much thought beyond that so if people have advice I'd love to hear it

Thank you!

Well...first time I've seen this excuse

Herne Hill and Denmark Hill trains cancelled due to lightning striking the signalling system.

What a weird weather day
