Harvested a small quantity two days ago, dehydrated overnight, stored in a mason jar with silica packet. Apparently, I did not dehydrate them enough, because the silica packet changed color to indicate it had absorbed a bit of moisture, and the mason jar smells a little funky. Not rotten, but a little off. They've only been in there a day or so. Visually look fine. I know that they will likely rot / may already be doing so, but is it safe to eat them today before they go too bad? Or should I play it safe and toss them?
