Trying to gauge EV car size comparisons. If you were driving and looking to have a comfortable journey with 2 adults, 3 teenagers and a couple large suitcases and a few medium suitcases what size EV would you look to use for such a trip? BMW ix3? Audi Q6? VW ID.7Tourer? Skoda Enyaq? Maybe these aren’t big enough, perhaps something with more boot space or rear space? It would also be used for day to day commute. Maybe even larger EV?
Am I reading things correctly that when you do salary sacrifice to lease a new EV you not only get maintenance, tyres but also Insurance covered?
So if I sell my diesel car (only car we have) to replace with an EV in this scheme then I could cancel my existing car insurance and use the insurance that comes with the scheme and me, my wife and my 19 year old daughter (less than a year with full driving license) can be fully covered thus probably saving a lot of money from dropping existing insurance? Thanks!
I saw a max mileage of 424 miles on full battery of Pro edition which needs to be taken with a grain of salt, ofc.
My question is what is a likely range on a cold winter’s day (say 2-3 degrees) with heating on driving on the motorway at 70mph. Is it 25% less efficient? Half? Maybe still 200 miles on full battery? Thanks
