My northwoods outdoor kitchen

With only a few odds and ends to wrap up, this project is nearly done. Took me longer than I expected. Took a lot of advice from this sub, lot of research, and it took my budget for a ride but pretty happy with how it turned out.

Is the little extra counterspace of having a round cut in justified or is a square cut with an open end for sliding it into place the way to go? Just trying to narrow down the what ifs/wish I would've done thats.

Just wanted to ask does if the little bit of extra counter space justify doing a round cut out in the countertop for a drop in kamado or is a square cut out (open end) for a slide in the way to go?
