if i’m in the appeals process for ssi and were to be found disabled but have over the allowed $2k in my bank account from a personal injury settlement, do they take away my back pay equal to the amount i have at the time of ssi approval or would this automatically make me ineligible? would they give me an amount of time to spend down the money?
