How to resign?

Probably a silly question, but I didn’t have to resign from my previous job so I just want to know what I’m actually supposed to do.

I started working at the Co-op in July after graduating uni and in August I accepted an offer for a grad role beginning in January. My contract says 4 weeks notice I think. So at the end of November/start of December do I just tell my manager in person or do I have to write a letter? My manager is so nice I feel a bit bad leaving lol, especially because he keeps saying he’s trying to build my experience on shopfloor (I primarily work in bakery) so I can get more hours meanwhile I know I’m not here for much longer.

Phone stuck on greyscale

A while ago I changed my settings so my screen is black and white but now I want the colour back and I don’t know how. Tutorials online said turn on colour filters to greyscale but that’s not on for me so I’m not sure how I made the change originally. Any ideas what other settings to check?

Grad dress help

Unfortunately got swept up with other things and haven’t got a grad dress even though I need it by the 9th (my fault I know!) Anyways I’ve ordered two but I’m also looking for recommendations for shops to visit in person because having to order something without trying it on is stressing me out.

For context, I’m looking for a midi dress and I’m a size 14, sometimes a 12. Also, I’m in London if that helps with shop recommendations

How do I stop getting these holes?

I only got the shoes in the image in December 2025 and I do wear them nearly daily but my friends and family say they don’t have this problem with shoes they wear regularly.

Also this definitely happened with my two previous pairs, not sure about the ones before.

When I buy a pair of shoes I mainly just wear that new pair because the previous ones are busted so is the issue I need to diversify or is it something in the way I walk?
