curious to hear people's thoughts on this.

what's your take on students regularly hanging out with faculty members outside of school, particularly if they're currently under those professors?

by hanging out, like playing sports together regularly, grabbing food, meeting up on weekdays or weekends, or just spending time together in casual settings where personal friendships can develop.

would it be completely normal and harmless or could it create issues such as blurred boundaries or conflicts of interest even if nothing inappropriate is happening?
