Accidentally lifted my 3 year old 3 weeks post csection. Help!!

my 35 pound three year-old fell and took a pretty hard hit and I without even thinking, went and scooped him up and carried him to our couch to comfort him and hold him. Of course, if he’s crying, I won’t even think twice about picking him up, but now I am freaking out because on Wednesday I will be four weeks post C-section. What do I do? Am I OK?

Would appreciate input!

First, this is my first time posting so my one ask is to please be kind. if you don’t think you can, please don’t comment!

So my husband and I are 27. We have 2 kids- a 4y/o and another due in 7 weeks. We currently rent as we were not budgeting when we first got married and have spent the last 2 years of marriage getting our ducks in a row financially. We are one income. We have 5 months emergency savings in a HYSA at 3%. we have a house downpayment going in a HYSA as well, as well as retirement being invested in 403B & we have savings for both kids.

A couple of questions -
1.) We were debt free, but last year had an urgent car need where we ended up needing a new car. We purchased a brand new 2026 (as a family member works in a dealership and got us a great deal) & we owe 20,000 still on it at a 4.9% rate. The monthly payment is very affordable & this car is our only debt. How do we aggressively pay down this car without emptying our savings? Since we also have the goal of buying a home very soon we are wanting to be really cautious about touching our savings but are so sad to have this debt over our head.

2.) I am lost on where to invest from here. I would like to open a Roth IRA, but I do not understand brokerage accounts, stocks, etc. I just want to be a good steward of the finances entrusted to us and the money my husband works so hard for. What would you recommend going from here?

I feel like I’m just not doing a good job at all of this. I was so defeated having to buy a car, but I’m so grateful to God for the provision He gave us in all of this. No matter what I want to have a heart of gratitude, and I know God will always give what we need. I just want to do my part in honoring each dollar He entrusted to us.

Thanks for any and all the help!

2nd Csection Fears

I am due for my second csection in 7 weeks or less. My first one was 4 years ago due to baby being breech. Same scenario right now- baby is breech, but also hospital doesn’t allow VBACS. i’m so scared to leave my son to go have another csection & have been terrified of something bad happening to my baby or me. i think with our first one ignorance was bliss.
please reassure my heart that all will be okay- give me all the positive stories🥲
