Little league game, majors. Home plate umpires ball/strike calls and mechanics aren't clear. Two outs and the count is 2-1, but the scoreboard says 1-2. Pitcher throws and the batter swings and misses. Defense thinks it's strike 3 and walks off the field. Catcher rolls the call to the pitchers mound. R2 and R3 start walking off the field too. R2 and R3 both start walking towards the 1st base dugout. R3 does not touch home plate.

As r3 is crossing the 1st baseline, the umpire yells out, that's strike 2. R3 and R2 start running back to their positions. The as pics up the ball and throws to 3B who clearly tags R3 out.

Umpire calls that they called a dead ball and everyone returned to their bases.

My question is what should the umpire have done? If offense and defense both leave are the runners just out for abandonment? Is it the umpires place to stop the game and clear up the confusion unsolicited?

I hear this all the time. I understand that it means there are runners just waiting to get hit in, but you aren't shooting the "ducks". Is the intent that you shooting the above the ducks to try and scare them into home? why does this phrase even come up? It just seems like a really common phrase but doesn't make a whole lot of sense. What am I missing?

I can't find my pixel buds pro. I didn't realize until about 10 days after I remember using them, and I've travelled. I open up the find hub to see where they last were and I just get a notice about them not checking in for 7 days, and a black screen. I've been on with chat support and they indicate that after 7 days, for privacy, they wipe their location and they suggest I walk around the house using the find-hub and they will "wake up". They assume that they are in my house, but they could just as easily be in another state or dropped at a friends house or at the gym.

Does anyone know a way to see the last known location of the device? Support has been less than helpful.

just opened the pool and the cleaner isn't working. I checked the line and there's barely any water coming out of the line. Tons of pressure coming out of the other output lines. I can hear the booster pump fire up and appears to be working. Any ideas on what could be happening?
