I have my installation of my Anker Solix E10 System coming up soon. I am in Massachusetts. There are some concerns around NEC 702.12(B) which says:

702.12(B) – Portable Generator Connection

The connection point (flanged inlet or other cord-and-plug connection) used to connect a portable generator shall be located outside of a building or structure.

I plan on installing the system in my Basement of my home and since the E10 has an integrated generator connection directly on the inverter itself.... Would this completely rule out installing the system indoors?!

It is UL listed and here is some relevant documentation. Also - system one-pager.
