Swedish and Turkish History or Contemporary Issues Books (Accessible)

Traveling soon and looking for books on each of these countries. I don’t have a strong memory or long attention span, so the more accessible and gripping the better!
Any of the following topics ok: re: Sweden and Turkiye
- history
- contemporary issues incl. politics
- farming, water use, urban design, architecture, fashion, etc.
- queerness, race, disability, etc.

Good fiction or YA that is culturally relevant and you get excited about would also read! Thank you!

Stay Like a Local with Bike Rental

I'm returning to Uppsala with my partner after attending Pride in 2016 and am looking for a place to stay like a local. I liked the look of Uppsala Lägenhetshotell due to price and bike rental, but they are booked up. Is there something else like that that I am not seeing on the internet?

Ideally:

- Own unit (I am covid-cautious) or private bathroom

- Bike rental or close to bike rental

- Walkable to city center or with bike/bus

- Not more than $300 for two nights

- Bed for two people

Tack sa myket!

Boys’ Long Sleeve Linen Shirt

I’m very small and wear boys size 14 top and 28-30 pants. I have a wedding to attend and have a mid-blue linen boys’ JCrew jacket and same color cotton-linen men’s pants.
I used to wear a Johnny polo (?) no-button cream knit linen shirt. But, the event specifies a tie/bow tie of some kind.
I have Brooks brothers’ button downs and button ups in various whites and blues… the white one may look best in color but the collar is basically as wide if not wider than the tiny boys’ lapel.
Any shirt recs? Have been looking for quality boys sized shirts that won’t break the ball on eBay/depop/poshmark and aren’t see-through, but no luck.
I could get a Ralph Lauren or Brooks brothers Oxford button down shirt to reduce the collar width, but it may still be hot.
(Note the wedding will be hottt)

Best Luggage for Ill Person?

I’ve lost a lot of strength and energy, and am going on a three week trip. Will you advise on the best luggage?

- three weeks
- must pack formal wear, so not sure if carry on will cut it
- planes and trains, maybe cobblestones
- fair number of places during the stay (not one continuous hotel)
- thinking 40-60 liter size; would love input
- usually an overpacker; will work on it
- was recommended the Patagonia black hole duffel 40L but too expensive and none available used
- was thinking a rolling duffel with backpack straps, or a spinner. Wish there was a spinner with backpack straps
- on a budget; ideally used. Could resell after

See some local options below. Thank you for your help!

I used to buy from Vitacost, and have a laundry list of supplements from my doctor for long covid. What's the best place to buy them? Cheapest and also large selection.

I could try for 20 percent off with a new email at iHerb every time, but I don't want to support what seems to be a... monopoly?

Amazon is not an option for the way workers are treated.

After 20+ years of service. It kept me warm through college. Only recently did the feathers start becoming dust-like, so I had out an allergy cover on to keep them in. I had to wrestle the duvet out of the cover, and released a wave of feather dust down the street.

Putting it in the garbage felt so sad. A friend who prefers new things watched me do it, and I imagined couldn’t relate. Is there a better way to honor or say goodbye in such situations? Didn’t expect to feel this way.
