Salary pay scale question
Hello! I'm looking at potentially moving to Norway for a term Senior Researcher (Seniorforsker 1109) position at NTNU and am having a hard time finding what the pay scale is. I saw that normally there is an A-Table with the pay scales but I'm not finding anything, and it looks like how pay tables were set changed in 2024?
I saw one posting (Senior Researcher in Satellite Systems (301013) | NTNU - Norwegian University of Science and Technology) that mentions 600-750k / yr for the same code, but I'm not sure where this is coming from. Would there be set guidelines for how qualifications and seniority are assessed for determining starting salary, or is this more up to the specific project/supervisor/department, etc. I remember last year when looking at positions in Australia the university had specific tables for qualifications that would set what level / pay step you started at, but I can't find anything like that for NTNU.
Edit: To those saying rule 4, this question is about salary scales, which I've seen asked about before, hence why I posted here. I assumed the r/ntnu subreddit would mostly be students, not staff or faculty.
