Fidelity Platinum Service Contract worth it when buying out a lease?

Hi everyone, I'm planning on buying out the lease on my 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring model because the residual ($23,664) is a good price compared to the value of the car and I like my car a lot. I went to the Honda dealer as Honda Financial won't finance it directly. They offered me a good rate compared to some of the other options I've looked at, around 5.95%. They are pressing me to include a Fidelity Platinum VSC for $2750 (7 year / 70k miles). I've never purchased a car before so not sure if this is a good deal and worth it or if it would be better to look elsewhere, or if a warranty is not really a good value. The only other fee they are charging is a $749 documentary fee. Thanks for your advice!

Best lease buyout loan rates?

Hi everyone, I'm looking to buy out my lease on my Honda Accord 2023 Hybrid Touring. The buyout price is ~$23k. I'm wondering what financing options are recommended with a reasonable rate. I have tried contacting local credit unions which seem to have good rates, but since I recently moved, I'm running into issues because I haven't switched my car registration to a new state yet. I also checked with Ally, but their rate seemed high at nearly 8%. Any recommendations for other places to look?

Buy out lease?

Hi everyone, looking for a little insight from longer term accord owners. My lease is up soon on my 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring. I’ve really liked this car overall. My only annoyances have been with the bugginess of car play. I’ve always leased cars but am considering if it could make sense to buy out my lease on this car. I have about 16,450 miles on it and buy out price would be around $23,660. It seems a good price for the miles and trim but wanted to get insights as to how other accords hold up longer term. Thanks!
