Guess my age from my Top 5 Ax7 songs.
Bat Country - first song I heard. Essential Ax7. Punk, metal, psychotic. All time great guitar solo of any genre. Rev at his best. Iconic drum intro.
Almost Easy - addicting riffs. Perfect drumming. To me this song is the band at the height of their powers. Tight, powerful and blends all of their styles.
Radiant Eclipse - one of their best choruses. Hits every time and I find this song getting stuck in my head a lot. The guitar riffs and Matt’s vocals get better with each listen.
Cosmic - I just love it. The end of Syn’s solo into the piano part is beautiful. It’s a giant song that could have been cheesy. Proof of their skill that it’s not.
Buried Alive - such a slow burn song. I like that this song dips into more traditional rock and they just blow it away. It always reminds me of the Red Hot Chili Peppers at the beginning and then opens up and it’s like “wait this band is friggin badass”.
