DBC Meet & Greet

Looks like 2026 is a hella busy year for the guys. Has anyone here claimed their M&G perk? If you’ve done it at past shows, how was your experience?

Doing The Rev for school art performance evaluation.

Teacher said, "Pick your role model and draw him/her in pointilism".

And I was like, screw it, I'm gonna draw a fucking metal hero in the best quality ever.😈 (my country is especially closed when it comes to metal/rock, it's the Land of K-pop)

Hope you guys, and perhaps him up there, will like it 😉

Jimmy, I never got to see you, but you're the best weirdo in foREVer.

This is the reason why Save Me is the a7x masterpiece.

It could have been the last track that a7x ever released. We didnt even know if they ever were even play another show when nightmare came out. save me was the capstone of all of their years of creating and crafting the “avenged” sound.

It officially marked the end of the Revs musical legacy. It served as a fitting response to “Fiction” where the Revs last words were “I hope you find your own way, when I’m not with you.” (Okay technically his last word on the album is “skull” but that doesn’t count - idiot. I’m telling you to shut up proactively). And their response to Jimmys line in Fiction was like “dude how the hell am I supposed to find my own way? I’m trapped in a vile vile world , I lost faith in God, I have no answers to why you left us, and the only place I’m headed is towards death. So Rev, how about call up the Reaper. Save Me from my personal hell, there is nowhere left to go.”

A masterful confluence of waking the fallen, city of evil, self titled, and nightmare. It captured the signature large open epic sound of avenged sevenfold. The musical arrangement takes you on a journey of highs and lows, and the pause before the chorus sets up the best drop in all of rock / metal / and probably in all of music (fuck the drop in Magic, some serial-killer rock/ garbage-man metal bullshit.)

And then on top of all of that it’s a legit highway thrasher, if you haven’t driven down the highway, windows down, blasting Save Me, you are dead to me. You can go listen to Brompton Cock in your Toyota on 03 volume.

Someone thought it would be funny to add a penis to the Self-Titled cover art on last.fm

Do the signatures on this look legit? I’ve been seeing Brooks sign his whole name on these, so the short hand signature is throwing me off

a7x/Trivium fans?

wondering if there were many others who love both these bands and often swap them around in their second or first favourite bands/metal bands. I'm curious to see what you guys think are their biggest parallelism/similarity/similar songs.

The Last Time I Saw Avenged Sevenfold Live (in Full) - Tsongas Center - Lowell, Mass. - Jan 22, 2011

In honor of Avenged Sevenfold becoming "fully independent" after buying masters to all of theit recordings, here's a few pictures from 15 years ago when I saw them at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Mass. It would be the last time I saw a full A7X show (technically the last time I saw them live was at Mayhem Fest in 2014... but that's a story for another time 😉), and the band was on 🔥... and no, not just because of all the insane pyro they used - this was Jan 22, 2011, right in the midst of their successful run in support of "Nightmare." Stone Sour and Hollywood Undead were opening the tour... but M Shadows and A7X proved that night why THEY were the headliners.

Stay tuned for more things to come from this space (including stories from concerts like this)!

What is this AI shit?

Shows up under Zachary Baker on YouTube music. Definitely AI but not sure how it's attached to Zacky's music.

The Stage

Does anyone know why on YouTube Music the entirety of The Stage songs are "Unavailable" but can be re-saved? I can search the songs up again and re add them but I'm just confused at why they're unavailable until I re save them.
