I need legit advice (moving from Mobile Alabama)

For starters, I (18M) have spent my entire life in the country, from Frisco, to Jackson, to Brewton, and etc. Ive always wanted to live in the big city, specifically LA, and Ive recently gotten serious about making moves to help me get there. But I have no idea how. Ive pretty much lived on my own with my partner since we were 16. We are two queer men and the south just doesn’t fit our lifestyle anymore. I have absolutely no idea where to start. Does anyone have any advice? How much should we have saved up to be able to move within the next three years? How do we get jobs? How to we get a place to live without a job? Will we need jobs before moving? How is that possible? If someone could give me a guide on how to move for dummies Id be really grateful. I don’t mean to sound ignorant but I need a step by step guide 😭 Thank you!
