Qidi in a nutshell

Qidi in a nutshell

Everyone keeps saying qidi is amazing. It used to be true for me. But in the last months i ve had some mant problems with it I don t even know where to start.

This is the latest print i managed to make it work from other issues just to see that this happened.

How can something like this can even happen??

I can t get my head around it.

This is 100% software based.

Conclusion I can give right now is that this printer can t handle tall prints.

Wasted lots of material and no one is going to reimburse me for anything.

Help

What is wrong with my qidi q2? I ve been trying for a few days to figure out what is happening. I can t print anything anymore. At first i thought it was a calibration thing because i was using marble pla, then i thought it was a nozzle blockage. Tried everything than i changed the filament to pla+ (white) which used to work great. Same thing happens. Not that strong but happens. Then in the morning i found the printer just going at it without filament coming out.

Also i ve had a huge layer shift on another print, right before all this started. Destroyed a 20 hour print Please help. What is going on?

ASA printing failing

Hi! Please tell me what is wrong. I m trying to print with ASA, i ve did all the calibrations and just simply doesn t print right. I ve printed with same filament on gray with 0.6 mm nozzle and worked without any issue. This is with white on 0.4mm. Nozzle temp 260. Bed 100 Chamber temp 60.

Also dried filament for 8 hour at 65. and it was brand new.

Hi everyone!

I really need some input here as I m afraid of how things have been left and we do not feel safe with a 2 year old in the house.

I ve just installed a photovoltaic sistem and at the end they removed the dofferential breaker that was also the main breaker in the house. They say its not compatible with fotovoltaic sistems and they put instead a normal one.

I ve read a bit about types and i think the old one is AC and its recomended to have type A installed. Don't know if i ve actually read something usefull. They insisted that no type of differential would work as the main breaker in the house and that i should change the small ones with differential ones.

That feels kind of absurd and very expensive do to as it would go to more than 150 euros to replace them. Why the main one would not work but the next one right next to it would? (I know dumb question)

I ve atached photos of how they ve done the work.

Invertor-1(first box)-2(second box)-3(house box)

Inside the house box they removed (photo with"removed") the differential and installed a normal 32a breaker. So no protection for us.

Is this normal? Everyone with fotovoltaics replaces all breakers with dofferential ones instead of the main one or is there something that they didn t want to do?

Location: Europe - Romania

p.s. one more thing: sometimes the breaker went off. not sure the reason. he said that i have to stop all the breakers and start them one by one because its too much at once or it will not work. how? there was like only a fridge and a laptop working. whats with that?
