I saw this bass on a live show and really wonder what build it is. It is headless and five string. Stage light might be misleading, it has a gradient spacy look on the body. Frets aren't fanned as far as I saw and no passive/active switch from the looks of it.
Can you help me identify the brand and exact model?
Hi there. First of all, I'm not looking to restart the fight of decades, nor submitting a controversial post. It is just that I was listening AJFA in the car, and I realized that I simply disagree.
I agree with the opinion that the bass is mixed poorly overall. Probably because they wanted the bass out of guitars' way, they suppressed the mid frequencies of the bass, which was harmful to its presence. It does not have body or clank..
HOWever, I can very clearly hear the bass in a normal headphones or car listening session. Sometimes it even is loud (not in a good way). It sounds rumbling because all it has is low frequencies.
It is not inaudible in any ways.
