Polar Grit X Won't Let Me Start Workout (Run) at 8% - Directs Me to Charge the Watch

My watch has been acting in a way that has bothered me for the last few months - something new that arose after a few years of owning the watch. If my battery dips below 9%, the Grit X won't let me start a workout (at least, it won't let me start a GPS run with no HR monitor). I'm not sure why this behavior was baked into whatever new version of firmware I installed (I don't remember exactly when, but maybe a few months ago is when I noticed the behavior). But I strongly prefer the old behavior of just informing me my watch is low on battery and letting me decide whether or not to assume the risk of starting the workout and potentially losing the data when the battery dies. I only use 3-5% of battery at a time for my short 30-45 minute jogs anyway. It is a frustrating experience to get ready to run, head outside, and notice my battery dropped from 10% (where it was yesterday) to 8% and because of that arbitrary line in the sand, I now have to head back in and charge the watch for a little bit.

Is there any plan to bring this original functionality back?

ETA: not sure if actual company employees frequent this subreddit. Let me know if not, and I can submit the feedback another way.

Feature Request: VLAN as Selectable Interface In Network Widget on Dashboard

I have the (admittedly minor) problem of not being able to display my NAS IP on the Dashboard's network widget because I use a VLAN. This causes the IP(v4) Address widget to read N/A (since I set the IP on the VLAN instead of the physical interface itself under Settings>Network).

Can we get the ability to display the IP address of a VLAN tagged interface? It would probably work to allow a VLAN to be a selectable "interface" in the widget.

Thanks.

NG Looking to Transition to the Reserve - Info on USARIC, Training Divisions, COCOMs?

I'm currently an Infantry O-4 in the NG looking to transition to the Reserve. I've used the USAR's unit locator page to track down some units (with 01A positions - I'm aware that 11A positions in the USAR are extremely sparse, which is not a problem for me) after speaking with USAR's Careers Group, but I don't know anything about them. I basically have a spreadsheet with ~1000 positions, which all have a variety of of applicability to my Army and civilian experience that is hard to determine from the spreadsheet alone. Without reaching out and contacting 20 different POCs at units, how do y'all find info out about units / pick your next position to apply for amongst all the ~1000 available positions?

Then, just by looking at the titles of positions and where they're located (I wouldn't mind drilling in Florida or Hawaii), I've narrowed down a list. No idea if I missed adding something cool. No idea if the ~20 positions I have are all suitable. But in general, I have the following priorities:

  • Promote - I'm eligible: +4 yrs as a MAJ, KD complete, ILE about to be complete (by the time I transition), good OERs, no flags
  • Do something I enjoy - that might be leveraging my technical skills (CS, math, science), or by sticking close to maneuver - OC/T for maneuver units at warfighters, CTCs, etc, or planning maneuver stuff (like at a COCOM)
  • If possible (probably not), do more schools - Pathfinder, JOFEC, maneuver and effects stuff - and jump again if at all possible (I'm sure definitely won't happen)

Other than the general question above, what do y'all know about these units?

  • 91st Training Division
  • 89th Training Division
  • 87th Training Division
  • 86th Training Division
  • 78th Training Division
  • USARIC Army Applications Group (Innovations Command)
  • USAR Element, US CENTCOM
  • USAR Element, US Southern Command
  • US Army Pacific Support Unit

Which of the Training Divisions could I be a CTC maneuver or planning staff OC/T at? What does the innovations command actually _do_? In general, with what I want to do, where do I actually go? Any info you can provide is helpful.
