My Sidephone has arrived - absolutely buzzing! 964/1000

A question for people though - I bought 2x screen protectors and have managed to ruin both of them - I genuinely couldn’t get them on properly without a bunch of bubbles being on the inside, and couldn’t squeeze them out. Anyone got any ideas?

Also - what are your tips for what I should do to make using the device as good as possible? I’ve read other Reddit posts but just interested in what people suggest 🙂

Just ordered my Sidephone! 🎉 Really looking forward to it - I love the whole concept and ethos behind it.

Not sure if hardware suggestions are welcome, but with the modular input options (Sundial, QWERTY, T9), I’d love to see a Nokia X3-02 style keypad one day - a four-column T9 like in this photo. I’d definitely grab one if it ever was an option!

Sidequestion™️ out of curiosity - I know the v1 is only just in pre-order, so I’m sure a v2 would be a long way off (and I’m genuinely buzzing for my v1!). Just curious if the team have given any thought to features they’d like to include in the future?

I’d personally love to see an SD card slot and a removable battery, as I’m a big supporter of right to repair. I know a lot of people also mention a 3.5mm headphone jack too (although I use an iPod, so that’s less important to me). Just asking out of curiosity 🙂
