plate vs ate 12m

in my last post people commented that I offer too much food at once.. i‘m quite confused over how much food a 12mo is supposed to eat, considering she sometimes eats almost a full plate like this (and she had some watermelon + few spoonfuls of porridge on top)

Dinner for my 12 month old

My daughter just turned 12 months old and she is a good eater, but i‘m not quite sure if my portion sizes are appropriate for her age? She had the whole plate + 150g of fruit puree (against constipation)

Dinner for 11mo

Tofu, zuchinni, sweet potato, greek yoghurt with raspberries

before and after (our dog ate some as well but she‘s a pickier eater than my baby lol)

if anyone has tipps on food for babies while travelling abroad, let me know pls!

Dinner for my 11mo

Asparagus Frittata (cooked the asparagus in a bit of butter, added 2 eggs), quinoa & broccoli puree, some gruyere cheese

she generously enough shared the frittata with our dog who surprisingly liked asparagus, but ate about 70% herself. quinoa wasn‘t popular today

Dinner for 11mo

the cubes:
- 2x broccoli
- 1x quinoa
- 1x eggplant (textured)
- 1x carrot
- 2 broccoli 🥦

and added some tofu

whenever i cook for her i freeze some part as well for later and then combine .. 10/10 would recommend this approach for busy days!
