Firstly , the photo quality isn't doing it much justice , my phone camera is lagging behind the times , looks better in person. I moved over to medical recently , been BM for 15 years , daily smoker for atleast the past 6 of them , bong rips only since lockdown haha. I thought i would share my thoughts on one of the strains i received in the hope it helps others pick strains , also someone asked about it on my last post so here it goes , I know others have already reviewed this but the more opinions the better i think helps and i have noticed everyones tastes / response is different.

Upstate Mellowz via Montu pharmacy , 26% THC Non IR version , Genetics - Spritzer X Grape Gas.

Looks / Nose : 6.5/10 - Straight out the tub , decently sized nugs from what you would expect from your typical medical , not huge , not popcorn. The buds themselves were quite dry , likely been in storage for a while. Light and what i would describe as "hollow" feeling , overall i am happy with the buds. Fine to smoke out the tub , though a couple of days in a glass jar with a boveda pack should add a bit of moisture back and probably a little denser feeling. The initial nose after removing the seal is there , definitely wouldnt say muted but fades a little quick and not overly strong likely due to the same reasons as i mentioned above. I get a sweet creamy berry smell first with a citrusy sour back end with a little earthiness , the kind that stings your nostrils like a classic diesel / gassy strain. When you break into the buds or grind some up , you get the citrus and gas alot more, again a couple of days in the jar should freshen it up and bring out those terps and flavours of the buds again.

Taste / Effects : 7/10 - Set the temp on the frolic initially to around 180/185 then increased to 195/200. Taste is not too different to the aroma , a smooth creamy almost candy fruit taste on the initial exhale followed by citrusy gas , not too overpowering but definitely a diesel back end (some like earthy gas / diesel tastes , some don't, i love it haha). The effects i find the most subjective about these reviews as everyones tolerance levels & body responds different to the same flower , you see that alot here on reddit , the same batch some love and some cant get along with. I would say i have a high tolerance on average so some may feel the effects alot stronger , or less. For me , i get a fast uplifting , focused cerebral effect straight away without the racing , anxiety inducing effects you can sometimes get from a cerebral high , there is none of that for me. Also with a little pressure behind the face / eyes. I notice a happy euphoric boost for sure , may give more inexperienced users the giggles. Then a calming relaxation body effect shortly after washes over the whole body. Not couch lock or tired but just a nice calming relaxed effect overall. Very good for anxiety , low mood , adhd , muscle spasms , pain i would say. I don't really get the munchies no more so can't really comment on apetite , i will be getting a chinese takeaway later though if that means anything 🤣.

Overall : 7/10 - Very happy with this strain and particular batch. Would get this again and add it to the day time rotation , tastes good and well balanced effects.

Also ratings wise , 1 being straight in the bin in disgust with 0 noticeable effects, 10 being that one i have yet to smoke in my life that ticks all the boxes of perfection. Cheers , happy medicating 🤙

Got my first medical delivery today ! Not vaped any yet , curing in glass jars for a couple days! Quite impressed with the looks. None are dry or muted , if anything im keeping an eye on the kush cookies as thats a little moist. Will update in about a weeks time when i get my sourdough delivery and have vaped them after a couple days in the jars ! happy medicating 🤙
