Restoring 1967 el Camino emblem

I have a 67 el Camino emblem that’s just the classic half white half red Chevy logo and was wondering if anyone had any tips of restoring that kind of stuff. It’s incredibly pitted out with a ton of bumps. After doing thorough research I’ve found videos and forums some saying to bondo, sand, and spray paint it and some say to polish it after sanding with dremel/cloth. What would be the better route? Not sure what material it’s made out of so not sure what dremel bit to use because I couldn’t find any info of what material that specific emblem is. Any tips appreciated.

Help what am I doing wrong

I wanted to get into glass engraving and bought a dremel 3100 and some diamond coated bits but my lines are so shaky no matter what spead I’m working on. I apply light pressure on higher speeds and harder pressure on low speeds but I am finding out that I’m terrible at outlines. Any tips for smoother line work? I am not looking to drop a ton of money on this hobby I just wanted to engrave mirrors for myself and family. Also how can I fill in large spaces without it skipping over spots?
