Sorry, no Showcase yet, I just have an urgent question and hope my project is not doomed...
My ESP32 NodeMCU "WROOM32" cant hold the USB connection at all. On Win11 with Arduino IDE it just blinks three times and quickly connects/disconnects. tapping the rst button repeats the progress. There was a brief moment it actually worked for a minute and I got the Port registering in the IDE, but before I could firmware ubpdate or flash some testcode it broke off again. It also affects every connected USB device really badly, they start to disconnect every two minutes until I disconnect the esp and reset. I tried updating the driver and I deactivated the usb hub power off function for every device, and disabled about every suspicious BIOS setting i could find, to no avail. So I connected it to another win11 pc, same thing. Lastly I hooked it up to my android mobile device, again the same... I refuse to believe that the device is just broken... I planned so much and bought a good chunk of peripherals and now I finally start and fail at step one. I cant even give the decive back, because I bought it a few months ago, and the funniest thing: The company producing most of what I bought just went bankrupt and they have exactly one 3x naked esp32 v4 kit in stock and its way to expensive for being their very last item :(
Maybe someone has an idea.. I could try it once more with a win10 machine
