Restoring root caries with composite

This patient came in today and had caries on the distal of 15. I usually don’t come across caries that apical but I decided to just do a composite restoration on it and this is how it turned out (I went back and adjusted the distal ridge once I saw the post-op BW). Any feedback? Would anyone else have done something different?

I was able to isolate the prep and keep it clean thanks to the garrison band and wedge.

Ride from airport

Hello
What is the best way to get a ride from the airport to our hotel (on Nobu Properties)
It’s too expensive to request a ride from the hotel, I’m looking to see if there may be cheaper but reliable options.

Practice By Numbers

Is anyone using PbN to manage their private practice? Any feedback on the software? Are there any other systems you recommend?

Clean socket after EXT

What’s everyone’s technique to ensure you’ve removed all granulation tissue from a socket after an extraction in preparation for socket preservation? I do my best with a serrated currette but sometimes I feel like I’m leaving a little behind.

Also patients sometimes feel it when you’re curretting the socket and they jump (even though they were able to tolerate the extraction with minimal discomfort), what’s your protocol then? Just inject into the socket and hope you’re anesthetizing that inflamed granulation tissue?

FWD vs 4WD

I’m looking at purchasing a 2026 model Pathfinder for my family, which will be our main family car for transportation around our home town, road trips, etc. Is it worth paying extra for the 4WD version? Does it drive any different/better than the FWD version (aside from being able to tackle wider array of surfaces). I don’t really venture out on any dirt paths, just pavement lol but does the FWD version have any noticeable torque/under steer?

But or lease

Father of two looking to size up from a Honda CR-V. I test drove the atlas and really liked it, but I want to purchase it so I can drive as much as I want and not have a cap on the miles (by leasing). Should I do it or look elsewhere? How’s the reliability been for everyone?
