Higher part of the print is wobbling causing layer shift ?
Hi all !
I just printed this HDD enclosure that I designed. This is printed in PETG. The lower part of the print came out really good, but the higher part, where both sides of the hexagon vent are meeting up came out completely messed up.
I noticed a lot of noises where the nozzle was bumping into the part. I think this is because the bed movements were causing the part to wobble. I added a drawing trying to explain that.
How can I fix this ? Would adding supports help ? IA suggested lower acceleration settings and print speed, but this is already a 10 hours print, and the bottom is looking great. Can I lower the speed only for the last part ? I don't know how to do that in Orca.
Any tips is appreciated. I use Orca slicer with a Sovol SV06 ACE. Thanks
Printer :
- Sovol SV06 Ace
- PETG black form a French brand (Arianeplast) Settings :
- Bed temp 80, nozzle temp 245
- Speed : there are so many different values, I am using the default values for the printer. Which matter the most here ?
