How do you stop overthinking literally everything?
Ok so I overthink EVERYTHING. A text I sent 3 days ago, whether I'm in the right job, what to order at a restaurant. Even dumb stuff turns into a 40 minute debate in my head.
And it feels like I'm being "careful" but really I'm just tired and still don't have an answer lol
Stuff I've tried:
•Telling myself to just stop (shocking, doesn't work)
•Pros and cons lists (then I overthink the list)
•Distracting myself (works for like 10 mins)
What actually helped you guys? Habits, books, therapy, random tricks, I'll try anything at this point.
Also, is it the same for you everywhere or only in certain areas of life?
