[fit check] Marks & Spencer Jasmine 32E - this is a pretty good fit, right?

[fit check] Marks & Spencer Jasmine 32E - this is a pretty good fit, right?

I'm keeping it in any case because it is sooo cheap (like 12 €) and I urgently needed a 2nd bra, but I wanted to check for anything that could be improved for future purchases.

Underbust 84/82/76 cm

Bust 96/97/94 cm

Suggested starting size 32DD/E or sister 34D/DD. The 32DD's I've tried before were too small. I have a couple 34DDs from the past but the fit is definitely off.

[Fit check] Freya Signature and a swimsuit 32E UK

My first time trying a "good" brand! Both feel fine, but I really want to get something with a perfect fit for once. Also I'm wondering what sort of concerns there would be if I wore the swimsuit as a regular bra as I like the look.

Measurements:

Underbust 84/82/76 cm

Bust 96/97/94 cm

Suggested starting size 32DD/E or sister 34D/DD. The 32DD's I've tried before were too small.

Sorry I have to rant about the European sizing system for a moment

The European sizing system with the hidden 10 extra cm is honestly killing me. This results in even otherwise reasonable size guides recommending nonsense.

Boux Avenue literally gives you completely different sizes depending on if you're measuring in cm or inches (screenshot) while M&S seems to suggest that French centimeters are not the same as European centimeters (screenshot). I know we all know not to trust store size guides but most people will still use them!

And in general it's much easier to explain to someone that they don't need to add any extra inches to their underbust measurement than it is that they should buy size 70 when their underbust measures 80!

I am wearing a bra that almost fits. It's not perfect, but I was just thinking how dramatic the difference it still is to what I used to wear. For example, the straps on this one are too wide set and keep falling down no matter the setting I put them on. I have narrow shoulders and bad posture, and this is a balconette. It's a bit annoying of course, but amazingly even with both straps down, the bra stays in place. So most of the time I don't really care if the straps are down. Whereas when I was younger and wearing 36 Bs, they all eventually ended up falling down completely. Basically I was often wearing a boob hat dangling around my waist under my sweatshirt until I could find a bathroom to pick it back up...

Measurements (cm)

84/82/76

96/97/94

Recommended UK size 32DD/E or 34D/DD

Currently wearing a moulded 32E with a non-stretchy extender to add an inch (I think I might have overdone it with my tight underbust measurement...).

I did manage to find one unlined bra that looked like it fit perfectly but had to return it because it was damaged and they didn't have a replacement. :(

I'm on a rather small budget, but on the plus side I'm in Germany so online stores have to accept returns by law. Which has honestly been pretty amazing.
