Future shrimp tank

I've been cycling this tank (30l = 8gal) for 1.5 weeks now, obviously I'll cycle it for about 4 more. Hopefully the plants will grow a lot in this time! Anyway, I obviously want shrimp (Neocaridina) in the tank. What do you think? Anything I should add or do differently? The plants are Utricularia graminifolia, Riccia fluitans, Bucephalandra sp. "Needle Leaf", Rotala rotundifolia "Blood Red" and "H'ra", Phyllantus fluitans and Salvinia. The filter is a super small sponge filter, but I think that will be enough for shrimps.:)

Are you in pain between flares?

I've been having symptoms for 10 years and my diagnosis got reclassified as lupus a year ago (before, my diagnosis was peripheral spondylitis). I'm being treated with hydroxychloroquine. I'm not sure how to tell if I'm in a flare or not. I'm in pain most of the time (joint pain, primarily in the knees and fingers) and fatigued as well. My rheumatologist said that not being in pain is not a reasonable expectation to have. Does that mean that my baseline is being in pain and fatigued and a flare is even worse? I sometimes have brief periods of being pain-free, but they're rare (maybe a combined 3 months per year). Are these the actual remission periods and the flares are the painful periods?

I think hearing how "bad" others' flares are in contrast to "normal" status could really help me understand how it works for me. Thanks in advance.
