Is this really how the scoring in the GMAT official mocks work? There can't be 3 coincidences, right? Can I trust these scores?

I have taken 3 of the paid GMAT mock tests (3,4,5) twice each and in each of the second attempt of the same mock I got the same score as in the first attempt. Are all of them coincidences?

Mock 3.1 - 615

Mock 3.2 - 615

Mock 4.1 - 575

Mock 4.2 - 575

Mock 5.1 - 655

Mock 5.2 - 655

The sectional scores varied between both the attempts in all the 3 mocks but the final score came out to be the same. There were no questions repeated in the 2nd attempt from the 1st attempt.

What could be the reason for this? Can I trust these scores in predicting my performance on the real test?

Is this the new normal for domestic flight prices? Are flights again being made unaffordable for middle class Indians?

It was just in early 2024 that I could book a one-way flight between my city and Ahmedabad for under 4500Rs and cut to today they're starting from 9000!

Are you seriously telling me that there has been a more than 100% inflation in flight ticket prices in just around 2.5 years?! And I was already not in the range of even thinking about international flights!

How did we get here? Are there no regulations on flight prices by the government? Is this all because of the Israel Iran war? Will they ever go back to around those 2024 prices? Who ensures that the airlines don't keep looting and taking advantage of customers even after the global fuel prices reduce? How long will it take? Is this the new normal?

Stuck at 615. Need help going for 655+

I've read about the plateau but never thought it would be this flat at the top.

I've taken 4 Official Practice Tests twice each.

OPT1.1: 555

OPT1.2: 575

OPT2.1: 695

OPT3.1: 615

OPT4.1: 575

OPT4.2: 575

OPT3.2: 615

At this point I don't know what even is my real level. Is it just 575? Is it 615? What should I do to reach 655+? Is it possible to do that in a month? Please guide me🙏🏻

Please guide me on how to get from a 615 to 655+. I have just 3 weeks

My official mock scores

Mock 1 - 555 - Q80/V81/DI71

Mock 2 - 695 - Q87/V87/DI79

Mock 3 - 615 - Q83/V80/DI79

I'm really bad at time management in Verbal and DI and DI is killing my score everytime. I'm literally afraid of DI not because I'm not able to solve questions but because I'm not able to do that in time.

Also need to get back my Q87.

Any guidance would be helpful 🙏🏻

Need help with DI Speed

I'm so slow in DI that even if a question is in my ability to solve, those abilities are useless because there is never enough time for me to solve. I asked Gemini about this problem and it told me to guess ahead those questions if I'm not able to figure them out within 90 seconds but if I do that then my entire DI section will become a guessing section and I'll score single digit percentiles. How do I improve on the speed? In QA I'm getting 85+ and in verbal 78-79+ scores. It's just DI that is always ruining my score. Is this even correctable? Is my DI doomed forever?

Can someone explain why my answer to this question incorrect?

u/tractortyre — 5 months ago

What their page shows seems sensible as per my understanding. It's a spray that contains Selenium Sulfide + Piroctone Olamine, Salicylic Acid, Niacinamide and Zinc PCA.

Is there anyone here who has used it and can give a review? Does it work as promised? Thinking of trying it.

I can't stop thinking about what could've been my score in my first mock had I been just a bit quicker in guessing the last two questions in DI since the test penalizes you more for missing answering a question than answering it incorrectly.

Any theories? Any possible predictions?
