TradingView Desktop update: customizable New Tab + improved tab sync
Hey everyone, quick TradingView Desktop update from us.
We’ve recently shipped a couple of changes aimed at making Desktop easier to set up and smoother for multi-tab workflows.
First, the New Tab is now customizable. You can choose which TradingView tools appear when you open a fresh tab, including Screeners, Heatmaps, Calendars, News Flow, Portfolios, Yield Curves, Options, Fundamental Graphs, Markets, and Community tools.

Second, Tab Linking now syncs more than just symbols and intervals. Linked chart tabs can now stay aligned by:
- Symbol
- Interval
- Time
- Date range
You can use these sync options together or separately, depending on your setup. This should be especially useful if you work with multiple monitors, compare markets across timeframes, review historical price action, or backtest across several charts.

As always, we’d love to hear your feedback. What’s working well in Desktop, and what still gets in the way of your workflow?
