You've heard of GBA sprite edits; now get ready for Echoes sprite edits lol

This is my first time splicing an FE sprite/portrait together, so I apologize for the amateurish look. I tried editing it as close to my fan design of her as I could. Unfortunately, there are no generic portraits for the DLC classes in FE15, so I had to make do with the Saint class :')

The only things I drew were the barely noticeable wrinkles (I'm sorry!) and her cape.

So, who were the victims for the creation of this sprite?;

I also included a little mockup using Fudgenuggets' FE15 Text Simulator! You can see the lack of quality between her and Alm's portraits haha ;w;

Again, shoutout to GBA sprite editors, this is not an easy thing to do!

This is the kind of main couple you would see in an otome isekai, I think.

These two came to me when I was playing Echoes and had Clair beat Berkut in the first battle with him. I'm glad that Clair's still fun to use in the remake like she was in Gaiden.

And hey, if she can't have Alm, might as well go for his widowed cousin! :D

The inspiration for this is just 70's shoujo manga in general and I thought Dorothea would be a nice fit in this style.

I suggest everyone to read a shoujo manga, doesn't matter how good or bad it is; read a shoujo manga just to... experience something, anything, really haha

Mr. Fire Emblem, himself.

Drew this after being inspired by the art in Ace wo Nerae! by Sumika Yamamoto (particularly the side profiles lol), since I've been reading it recently.

By the way, shoujo protagonist Marth IS a real thing, look up the Fire Emblem manga by Masaki Sano & Kyo Watanabe :D

Made this after being inspired by the artwork from the manga Earthian by Yun Kouga. I loved the colours, patterns, and the flowers/plants in some of the illustrations. It had this dreamy-like quality to them.

I was also influenced by the OVA's soundtrack (more so the vocal songs). If you haven't listened to the OST, please do so, the songs are beautiful (I highly recommend Kingo Hamada's songs from the soundtrack, beautiful songs!)

I don't think I captured it well (I kind of rushed this tbh), but I hope I can apply things better next time.

I also included the images individually as well.

Why is this a thing I made? I just... Listen, no one would EVER do this. So I did it! I learned how to draw this for kind of thing, specifically!

Actually, I've thought of a few ideas with these two, but feel free to share any that you might have!

Also this is the first time I've ever drawn Bowser, so sorry if he looks a little wonky :')

For Today's episode of "Old School FE Artist Spotlight" we have; Shinshu Ueda!

Shinshu Ueda is a mangaka that has been active since the late 80s. She has made manga for many different demographics throughout her career. She's drawn an official FE manga called Fire Emblem Wind Mage released on April 27th, 1998. The manga covers the backstories for Merric and Minerva. Many years later, she would return as an artist for the One Hundred Songs of Heroes karuta set, where she illustrated cards for Julius and Ares.

Early in her career, she made many doujinshi for Yoroiden Samurai Troopers (Ronin Warriors in English). She also created doujinshi for Dragon Ball, Gundam Wing, and many more.

Also this was as an attempt at actually blending colours and making my art LOOK like a watercolour painting. I say I'm pretty satisfied with the result. But I probably won't get it to look as good as this next time I do it lol

Happy 30th anniversary to FE4! On today's episode of the "Old School FE Artist Spotlight" we have; Yuuka Matsumoto! I chose her since she's worked on a lot of FE4 related material.

Yuuka Matsumoto is a Teen's Love (TL)* mangaka that has been active since the late (?) 90s. She focuses on writing for the shoujo and josei demographic, but she also made some Boy's Love manga as well (some of which includes shotacon). Early on in her career, she made a few one shots for horror magazine, Gakuen Mystery.

*Teen's Love (TL) refers to erotic and smut manga written for older teen girls and women. The characters in those manga have an adult cast. Though these days, I believe they're more targeted towards adult women.

She's created doujinshi for series such as Detective Conan, Final Fantasy, Digimon, and Gundam Wing.
