Making my first* fursuit head :D

Here’s the work I’ve done so far. I started on Monday and did almost all of it that day. Yesterday all I did was the eyes and nose. The last picture is Shibu’s reference. I followed a tiktok tutorial (by user @feline_fine_fursuits) exactly. I’m thinking I’ll add cheek fluff. The nose is glued on, but the eyes are not. I’ll permanently add the eyes on once the fur is done. I haven’t actually bought fur yet, I leave for college soon and I’ll wait to do it till then. I’m pretty happy with it so far 😁

*I made “fursuits” when I was ~10, but those were all very bad and made of either plastic mesh or paper.

Today made me wanna quit

Just wanna complain. It was hot. Very hot. Almost passed out like actually, shit was spinning and I felt super nauseous. I don’t know if I’m built for this. I loved being an indoor water park guard but both times I’ve worked at outdoor parks I’ve wanted to quit after just 2 shifts. My feet are sunburned to hell and I’m covered in a heat rash I think. The umbrellas didn’t do shit. Plus the park closed at 6 but they didn’t let us leave till 8. So I worked 9-8 in the sun. End me. Tomorrows supposed to be just as hot. Lord give me strength to not quit like I did last time this happened. God why doesn’t my town have any NORMAL indoor pools.

Collecting them like achievements

Not sure which flair to use. GWL has 100% been the best one I’ve worked for.

Side note: what’s up with the differences between E&A’s and ARC’s spinal procedures? It feels kinda weird that ARC only requires one chest strap and a forehead strap. I could tell when practicing that they didn’t feel super secure like that. Does it really not matter that much how secure someone is to a board during spinal extrication?
