Bf mad I answered a dude’s question. Just want some outside opinions

I went to a metal concert to see my favorite artist last night. While there, a pit started up behind me and propelled my bestfriend and I forward so naturally, we bumped/fell into everyone in front of us. We were about 3 rows behind the barricade.

My friend struck up a conversation with a guy that we got pushed into, because he asked who we were there to see. She told him she was here with me because it’s my favorite artist, then tapped me on the shoulder, so I answered. He told us that he’s been following the tour, and giving away his VIP gift bags. So… he gave me his gift bag. I told my boyfriend all of this, and how I was going to give some of the items to my daughter because she’s also a fan of the artist. I thought it was very kind and wholesome.

This was my boyfriend’s response.

He then went on to say I live in “La La Land” and some shit about how people are predators. He feels I should ignore people — especially men — who talk to me in any fashion. I genuinely don’t see the harm in answering a question.

And with his mention of how I would feel some kind of way if the roles were reversed, I wouldn’t because it’s not that deep for me. I’ve never given him any reason not to trust me, but he says his past relationships involve people cheating on him.

Edit: Genuinely was not expecting this to blow up. Thank you guys for the comments and perspectives. I do want to say, I’m not allowing it, ya’ll. Lol. I shut it down today and told him I’m not having it, in so many words.

I did go ahead and tell him that I’m not feeling it, didn’t appreciate the ultimatum, and I’m just gonna mosey along on my own. He didn’t like that, but I’m tired.

I’m… sorry??

I do not miss apps, but this is one of the randomest and funniest messages I received. And no — I did not let him bite me. Lol. I unmatched shortly after.

Learning my mom about Xbox buttons

My mom watches my kiddos while I work. The first thing my son did this morning was ask her to unlock his Xbox. I’ve walked her through it a few times before so my initial text read, “X RT X RT Y X”. That’s what she was referring to when she said she didn’t know what it is and… fair! Lol. I had to coach her through it via text and video chat… for the 100th time. 😂 Growing up, we played a LOT of Nintendo but she’s never played Xbox. I absolutely love her.

Note: the biggest opp thing is a running joke between my mom, my daughter and myself.
