Basically title.

First off, I did not expect ucla to put up 50+ points on Maryland! Congrats on an outstanding win!!

With that said, UCLA should be ranked this week. Undefeated, beat 2 solid teams (by a hefty margin for one of them).

Melody has made history for being the first person to win BBB and HoH back-to-back!

Taylor has made history for the most bbb losses and surviving the block.

EASILY the best DRs of the season so far. He nailed it with his reads on Drew and Barrett and could very well go far in the game. I could see why he took the bribe and honestly am shocked he’s playing this well!

Specifically, YASH deliberately holding Ashley’s card so Barrett couldn’t get to it.

I personally thought that it was fair. It’s a dirty move but it’s incredibly strategic. Since it’s not in the rules, I personally had no issues with it although I have a feeling that production might have a rule on that in future seasons.

Overall, genius move on Yash’s part. Thoughts?

Jason

Although specifically, Melody and Co. should not have voted out Jason.

Firstly, I understand that Jason played a messy game. I also understand that Angela had every right to vote him out given what he did to her.

But Jason being voted out is a huge loss… and it’s not just on a feeds or episode drama level. It also relates to game. The non-toolshed member is basically relying on primarily Mallory, who has won 3 comps so far… to get them ahead in the game. Having two members (Jason and Mallory) who both have competitive comp success rate helps boost them ahead in the game. They chose to keep Lala, who has not done well in comps and did not campaign this past week to stay and help them.

Now with Haley being HoH, this marks the FOURTH week in a row where one member of that side will be evicted. Even though Jason may not necessarily win the comp, they could have stood a chance. Melody has expressed regret and so has Barrat. DREW, especially, also has an extremely high chance to leave this week which will most def make him flip his vote to the non toolshed side.

All in all, it is looking like a steamroll.

I was dead set on a hill internship for 3 cycles straight. The first cycle was summer and I was really confident that it would be easy to get because of my previous congressional district internship. I ended up getting rejected from every hill office I applied to.

For Fall and Winter, I got interviews for many top offices but ultimately got rejected from all of them. I ended up doing governmental relations work and it was the best work I have ever done. It was so amazing that it changed my career trajectory. I truly think that if I did not pursue the internship, I would not have made the connections that I made with individuals which included my hill interviewers and hill staffers from both senate and house. I also ended up having coffee chats with interviewers who rejected me and most of the time, the selection was based on something out of the applicant's control.

What I am trying to say is, try something new if hill internships do not go your way. It may give you more opportunities to meet with people on the hill. Do not let a no stop you.
