Honestly I just fancied a few drinks myself in a pub for the sake of it but before I even get to the door I get told to essentially fuck off because I'm "too drunk" despite me not having touched a drop and not having said a word.

Is there something against going into a pub yourself?

I've managed for years going to bits in the rural southwest and have never had an issue.
