Copper sulfate and iron sulfate in 2/1, 1/1 and 1/2 solutions proportions

Not noticable differences until the 1/2 copper to iron other than the 1/1 seems to give the best tower-like shape. The 2/1 gave some flat panes all made small crystals with a lot of nucleation points, the 1/2 probably just had a higher concentration when slow temperature drop occured, leading to four bigger crystals in a bed of smaller ones

Discovered that some of my potassium carbonate crystals made from ash had phosphorescence

And also that one of my copper sulfate crystals got contanimated with some glow powder ...

Iron sulfate and copper sulfate. 1 part iron sulfate solution and 2 part copper sulfate solution.

Couldnt take more pics as they were already starting to dehydrate. They are back in solution now

Potassium ferricyanide crystal from multiple rapid cooling of a saturated solution.

It started as a classic seed crystal but with the multiple rapid growth it became flatter and more recrangular. Love the multiple facets !

Potassium ferricyanide crystal. Seed was from a light exposed solution and grown in a light protected solution

Wanted to see what would happen and it gave a pretty interesting pattern on the surface.
