User flairs have been added.

I started with about 25 flairs. Some are set around Christmas or similar, so were added as well. Wanted a mix. So you will see Elf, Love Actually and others.

Will add more the following days. May even create some flairs not related to specific movies, like a general Hallmark Christmas flair. And for some famous quotes and characters.

If you have any suggestions, feel free to mention them.

Sole mod burn out. Leave subs unmoderated or put them up for adoption?

I moderate several subreddits. A couple of them are active, and keep me busy. Then most of my subs are low activity ones, and I also feel like I neglect them as I haven’t focused on growing them. Been busy with active subs.

For some time, I have felt overwhelmed with the active subs. I am the sole mod too. Now I am close to burnout. Yes, I know I should recruit more mods. I have tried. In one of the subs, I have regularly been recruiting for about a year. Sometimes added new mods, but it never worked out. In some subs, it’s hard to find any potential mods at all. In others, I can find mods. But it doesn’t mean it works well.

I feel done trying to recruit mods. I am also considering to quit as a mod in the low activity subs. Because I am so overwhelmed and all because of the active subs and their workload. I want a break.

Not sure whether I should just leave as a moderator and leave them unmoderated. Or if I should find people who are willing to take over. Does it even matter what I pick here? Not sure if all will be adopted by others. Any other solutions? I know temporary events exist, but only up to seven days. A break would be nice, but I am not sure it would be enough.

(Because I have to mention it. I am on iOS).

Hi.

I am currently the only one who moderate this subreddit, and it’s pretty active/busy at times. So would appreciate some help. Especially with remove or approve content in mod queue. Things get filtered for various reasons, and some of it can be rule breaking content.

Would prefer if you explain why you want to moderate this subreddit, and how you want to communicate about mod related issues.

Either reply here or send a Modmail.
