Honeymoon, June 2027: Hvar + Brač, 9-10 days. Feedback on the plan?
Hi all, planning a honeymoon for mid-June 2027 and would love a sanity check. We want 2 bases, very nice hotels, and the best beaches and water we can get.
Proposed itinerary (Jun 12-22):
- Jun 12-13: Fly from Texas to Zagreb (booked on Chase credit card points, which only work for a Zagreb round trip for whatever reason), then connect to Split on a separate cash flight
- Jun 13-17: Hvar, 4 nights
- Jun 17-21: Brač (Bol), 4 nights
- Jun 21-22: Brač to Split to Zagreb, then fly home
Priorities: high-end hotels or resorts, great beaches and swimming water, no rental car if we can avoid it.
Really like what I have heard about Rovinj/Istria but decided to focus on Hvar islands given priority for the best beaches and water.
Questions:
- Is 4 + 4 on Hvar and Brač the right split, or would you swap one for Korčula or somewhere else?
- How easy is boat transportation between the islands in general (Hvar, Brač, Korčula) in mid-June?
- Any logistics traps with the Zagreb to Split connection? Or any suggestions on travel logistics in general?
- Beaches or hotels on either island you'd pick over the obvious ones?
