Are these good drives for a 24/7 NAS? 18TB WD EasyStores for $199 each back in 2023

So this is whats inside of each the drives.
And man i wish i bought more of these but back in 2023 i got 3 of these 18TB WD EasyStore drives for $199 before tax each.

Two of them have been completely unused, and I only used the third one to store about 17TB of games back in 2023 lol.

I finally shucked them and found:

18TB SATA 6Gb/s

WWN: 5000CCA2C7D3EFB1

From what I can tell, the WD180EDGZ is related to the Ultrastar DC HC550 i think, but I’m not sure exactly what version/spec this particular drive is.

Are these considered good/reliable drives for running 24/7 in a home NAS? And does anyone know exactly what drive/platform the WD180EDGZ-11BLDS0 is based on?

Mac Mini Passcode not working anymore!

I really don't know whats going on but after the power went out, I tried logging into my Mac Mini and it suddenly won’t accept my password, even though I’m entering the same password I’ve always used.

I already reset my Apple ID password and tried using that as well, but it still doesn’t work. After a few attempts it just keeps locking me out. And now when i try to reset the password again its telling me they cant and i need to wait days. I have even reseted the password from my iphone and still it will not work!

Do I seriously have to erase the whole disk and reinstall macOS to use it again? I really don’t want to do that because I’ve spent a lot of time configuring everything, including setting up a local photo cloud/server.

Has anyone run into this before, and is there a way to recover access without wiping the drive?

Also, before anyone asks: this is my own Mac Mini M4 that I purchased from Best Buy months ago. It’s not a stolen device or anything like that. I bought it when Best Buy price-matched a Micro Center sale and got it for $399.
