11days across Turkiye with trusted old lady

She asked for nothing other than a lot of gas

Up to 8 l/100km, and maybe take her easy over 2000 altitude uphill

The trip was nice, people where nice, where was nice and a bit of rain to cool us off.

Nice experience, it was my first big road trip

All in all 5.100km 11 days 740€ total. You could maybe do it cheaper with a more efficient bike

Revit airwave 4 performed really well in the heat jacket and trousers. I was wearing a long sleeved cotton shirt underneath to catch my sweat on the traffic and cool me after. Very nice. Also helped in the elevation as a thermal layer. Only one night at cappadocia I wore something warmer underneath

Tcx blend 2 boots was the saving grace. Wore them all day, changed socks once a day and they are very comfortable. I even walked in then around Sinop, and have crashed In them on the past, very safe and very nice looking with a bit on wear in them

Revid sand 5 gloves were a bit too hot for the hot days and when they're wet they get a bit difficult to get in and out of but I like them really well and are really safe adn comfortable.

Rhinowalk 48 Lt side bags and motowolf top bag. Cheapest option for me. Didn't really like the whole package but what can you do for 130€ and over 100l of storage? Not much more. They are waterproof tested and held up in a 30kph drop last trip. So ok on road. Off road they move too much

Waterproof jacket seca monsoon 1 piece suit

I even got inside with my salmon 8lt backpack

I removed the windscreen for the transalp as an effort for less turbulant air and more air in general and it really help

If I were to do it again I'd Change one of two things

Either prepare and plan better

Or just take more days

Help with turkey round trip?

I'm planning this trip from Greece, "around" turkey and back in August of 26, I really want to ride the d925 road and that's where I'm going. Im already planing some 2md options for the route as you can see. Do you have any suggestions about where I should go? What to see and what to ride? What to eat even. I like food.. And if you're in the area maybe ride along for while or drink a cold beer and meet a stranger. I'm also gonna camp for most of it.... Hmmm maybe 6h of ride time a day. The 6k km is all the options combined it's more like 4.5k to 5k...
